Anyone can be charged with DUI - even judges

This morning, a Broward County judge was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.  Judge Lynn Rosenthal had entered the courthouse parking lot and allegedly struck a Broward County Sheriff's vehicle.  The incident happened shortly after 8AM.  Thus far, there are no reports about any specific blood alcohol content.

This would be the third member of the Broward County bench to be charged with DUI in the last 6 months including one just last week.

Thankfully, I'm not aware of any Denver area judges who have had such issues.

Remember, Judge Rosenthal is entitled to an attorney and is presumed innocent of these charges.
