A Baltimore woman
received an unusual phone call from a DUI enforcement officer. It seems as if the car she had left at the dealership to get repaired was allegedly stolen and was driven by the auto repair technician while he was intoxicated. The suspect reported that he had just replaced the owner's engine and was taking the car for a test drive. He had a history of DUI convictions.
As for me, I would certainly prefer that my mechanic be sober when repairing my car. The dealership in this case did all repairs for free and detailed the woman's car as well.
If you have been charged with a DUI or other criminal charge in Denver, please don't make any statements to police without an attorney.
