One in five designated drivers may be impaired

People are always told to make a sober plan to get home after a night of revelry.  This is supposed to be a sure way to avoid a DUI charge and get home safely.  However, if you choose a designated driver, you must choose wisely.  Researchers at the University of Florida have published a study indicating that as many as 18% of designated drivers have a blood alcohol content that would subject them to Colorado charges of Driving While Ability Impaired or Driving Under the Influence.
If you have been charged with DUI or DWAI in Denver, you should immediately consult with an attorney to discuss your rights.
